There are many advantages to using cloth reusable nappies over disposables. As well as being kinder to the environment, in the long run cloth nappies can work out much cheaper than disposables, even with the washing costs included. They also provide a more comfortable, chemical-free cushion for babies' bums and, best of all, can be much better at containing poo.
The BCT’s cloth nappy information service has information on selecting and using cloth nappies in Belgium. In addition, samples of different nappy systems are available for loan.

The BCT’s baby-wearing information service has information on selecting wraps and learning how to safely wrap babies, including newborns.

In addition, we are now running a Sling Library, with currently 18 samples of different wraps, carriers and slings available for loan. Members will be able to try them out before deciding which kind suits them best. This new service is available to members as of 18 November.
