Pregnancy and childbirth are exciting events in our lives, but they can be a bit daunting. Maybe you’ve never done it before and don’t know what to expect, or you have done it before and would like things to be different this time - the KG Hypnobirthing course helps you feel relaxed and confident and is suitable for pregnant women at any stage.
About KG Hypnobirthing
KGH is a specialized birth education course currently offered online via ZOOM. Over 12 hours (4 x 3 hours) you will learn how to release fear and gain a powerful toolkit of techniques including breathing, visualisation and self-hypnosis to help you journey confidently through your labour. By using self-hypnosis techniques, you, as the one in control, will be able to put yourself into an altered state of awareness during labour to remain relaxed and calm. Hypnobirthing acknowledges the importance of the birth companion’s role and gives them a specific part to play.
This course offers insight in how to use hypnobirthing within the medical system in which you find yourself. This is extremely important as the environment you are in and the people around you can make a significant difference to your experience of giving birth.
Kate Ellwood has a Diploma in Antenatal Education and is an accredited KG Hypnobirthing Teacher.
KG Hypnobirthing is accredited by The Royal College of Midwives and is being accepted as the premier UK course for professionals and parents alike.
