The BCT supports parents and parents-to-be by providing information on babywearing, so they can make the choice that works best for them and their babies. Our babywearing volunteer provides practical information and support. You can also test and rent one of the slings from our Sling Library. BABYWEARING WORKSHOP AND SLING LIBRARY
The BCT’s baby-wearing information service has information on selecting wraps and learning how to safely wrap babies, including newborns.
Members regularly get the chance to learn more about babywearing in a practical 1.5-hour workshop led by our enthusiastic babywearing volunteer with extensive experience.
In addition, we are running a Sling Library, with more than 15 samples of different wraps, carriers and slings available for loan. Members can try them out before deciding which kind suits them best.
Who can rent
We have a variety of different slings available that our members can hire.
Cost
The first 2-week rental cost is €10, every extra week costs €5. There is also a €50 returnable deposit.
When to rent
Whenever you want to try a sling, during pregnancy, from birth to toddlerhood.
